Research Director

Before applying for admission, the candidate must contact one of the program's professors. The program management can only admit a candidate if a professor has agreed to direct their research work.

Academic requirements

  • The candidate has a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a diploma deemed equivalent.
  • The candidate has obtained a progress average in the program equal to or greater than 2.90 out of 4.33 or the equivalent.
  • Teaching at Laval University is in French. Fluency in written and spoken French is therefore essential.

Research project title

Summary of the research project: Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularized in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
